I used to defend r/atheism for a while but they hate Christians and they're unironically violent people. Not like before where at least it had some internal consistency and was against violence. r/atheism is proof that even nonbelievers can become religious bigots.

I took a Christian biology class and this was basically the point my teacher made. Every minor detail is so meticulously created to suit the needs of so many different living creatures. Why is an all-knowing Creator so ridiculous to believe in but an explosion and everything just happening to come together is logical?

With an infinite number of trials, you'd expect even the most remote of possibilities to come up eventually. There's also survivorship bias. We know this specific tuning of fundamental forces and physical interactions is vital for our universe, but it doesn't necessarily follow that other configurations would preclude the existence of complex systems and life in a form we don't even know how to imagine. Or in other words, just because it's necessary for us to exist doesn't mean it's necessary for anything to exist.
But when it comes down to it, there are so many unknowable unknowns in this kind of speculation that you might as well leave it up to faith. We're not getting answers anytime soon.

In a similar vein, John 14:6 is really interesting. If we accept the idea of the trinity, Jesus may be the only way to the Father, but what about the Spirit? The verse seems to suggest that there are alternative routes to God through the Holy Spirit that do not involve Jesus. Why not say "The only way to salvation/heaven/eternal life is through me"? If the Father, the Son, and the Spirit are equally and completely God, and Jesus is not the only way to the Spirit, I don't see how that could not suggest other means of contact with God than through Jesus.

Jesus is fully human and fully God. You can compare jesus to a character in a videogame that you control. The people you are playing with can talk to you directly, by calling your real name, or they can talk to your character by calling your characters name, but in the end its both you.
Jesus is the way, because he is the one who was sacrificed for our sins, but the holy spirit is thw one that Jesus has send to us as a comforter, because Jesus left this world, but he didnt fully leave us alone, thats what the holy spirit is for.

The thing is, religion just kinda guesses shit that isn't true while the scientific method disproves everything that is wrong so that we can get closer and closer to the truth. That's how we know that we're made of stardust, so to speak. Billions of years ago one star exploded into a supernova causing a bunch of elements in the periodic system to form. The dust then collapsed on its own gravitational pull which eventually caused fusion to form, making our own star. The star dust in orbit around the sun then clumped together in the heat to form planets that then cooled down or the orbit destabilized and they crashed into the sun. Then life formed on earth, most likely by a lightning storm or in a geothermal vent that caused amino acids and eventually basic cells to form. Then the mitochondria evolved and later incorporated with cells and the rest of life took on from there all the way to us humans, homo sapiens. So "black science man" is actually completely right in asserting that we're really just star dust. But we're also the earth, since all that we're made up off is on earth. And all the energy we use to exist comes from the sun in one way or the other. It's truly amazing. Religion could never come to such a conclusion unless it was just out of blind guesswork. That doesn't mean religion is bad or god doesn't exist, it just means that religion can't give us any answers about the world we live in.

Religion and science serve very different purposes, and each have a place in a man's life. The joke in this image is that the (caricacture of a) contrarian athiest refuses an insightful and valuable concept of Christianity - that the existence of man is ultimately worthless and meaningless, that grand material wealth and fame will not spare you from a final state of being but dust in the wind - as merely the imaginary and inherently misguided principles of le evil religion, but immediately accepts its profoundness as soon as it's conveyed to him through the lens of "science".

If you want to talk about how many things Scientific Consesus has been wrong about in the past, even recent history , let me know and we can discuss that. However the Scientific Method does require replication , and none of the things you mentioned about Evolution have ever been replicated.
