I am not 100% sure but I think your hand can still touch it, after right medical procedures and a ton of pain though. Brain surgery is a thing after all, surgeon technically "touch" your brain.
Ehhhhhh yea. I mean technically if you cut off part of your skull and let it heal, then you could just touch your brain and not feel it.
No idea how touching your brain would do to you though. I'm sure they've done stuff to mice somewhere for science

There was this guy in my school, never actually met him, 7 years older than me, same year as my older sister.
Once him and his partner in petty shop-lifting got into this dispute over how they'd split money. It escalated, the other guy straight up put the gun to his head and shot him, but he survived somehow.
After surgeries he was apparently left with a fair portion of his skull missing around his temple, there was nothing but skin around the brain and you could see what part was missing really well. My sisters claim you could see the brain beating all the time, but I'm not sure about that part, do brains even beat?
He became a bit of a legend around the school, as you'd expect. He was used as a bogeyman by teachers who claimed he was a drug-addict, and students made up much weirder shit, like my classmate told me he survived because he stuck a snail into the hole where the bullet went in before passing out.
The guy who shot him never even got reported to police even though literally everyone knew who he was and he never denied what he did. Basically the gun belonged to the dad of the dude who got shot and it was acquired illegally, so the family didn't press charges.
The dude who shot him lived right next to the school and I saw him all the time.
Pretty sure that brains do pulse with blood flow a little. I'm surprised he wasn't wearing a helmet, as patients with skull missing are usually strongly advised to wear one for their safety.
