You're missing the point of the post. The fact that he is eating light is supposed to be an analogy for the actual biological processes of the real world version of Plankton. If his real world equivalent isn't even photosynthetic, then the analogy is completely lost and the post is entirely meaningless. Plankton eating light is no longer a clever metaphor but now just a simple 1 dimensional joke.
We all know the show is not a real representation of reality, but there are some references which are supposed to be based on the real world.
How? I LOVE SpongeBob and can usually remember which episode a picture is from, but the season and exact title? Bless you though. Could be using your powers to change the world but you use them to help us with SpongeBob memes.
I eventually memorized the titles, seasons, and numbers through frequently checking the Wikipedia list for new episode announcements when I was a kid. I read that list back and forth so many times that I had it all down by the time I was 8 or 9
And in regards to the last part, you are indeed true, although I think SpongeBob memes change the world enough :)
I know those as well, since I didn't start watching the show until a couple of years after the movie. Most of the newer ones are at least pretty decent aside from seasons 6-7, those seasons were quite mediocre

You're missing the point of the post. The fact that he is eating light is supposed to be an analogy for the actual biological processes of the real world version of Plankton. If his real world equivalent isn't even photosynthetic, then the analogy is completely lost and the post is entirely meaningless. Plankton eating light is no longer a clever metaphor but now just a simple 1 dimensional joke.
We all know the show is not a real representation of reality, but there are some references which are supposed to be based on the real world.

I eventually memorized the titles, seasons, and numbers through frequently checking the Wikipedia list for new episode announcements when I was a kid. I read that list back and forth so many times that I had it all down by the time I was 8 or 9
And in regards to the last part, you are indeed true, although I think SpongeBob memes change the world enough :)
