Online polls are very poorly designed, oftentimes, and easy to ballot stuff, generally.
Some let you hit vote over and over until you grow tired of it. These are THE WORST.
Others supposedly only let you "vote once" but it's a matter of refreshing the page, or maybe having to erase one's cookies. (This is easily a few clicks of a button on many browsers.)
Better ones will likely require a log-in of sorts. The solution there is to use another account, a tad tedious.
Even more strict are those that track both log-ins and/or the IP. The IP bit is bypassed by using a proxy.
Lastly, there's botting, that can readily bypass everything but sites that detect bots and throw up scripts. I highly doubt this last bit was needed though.

Why are you being downvoted? That debate was an embarrassment. My friend from the UK says they watched it for comedy.
The sad part is the people here saying things like "oh well that debate was much better than the previous one". Like they think going on stage and insulting each other's personal lives in front of the whole world on television is an acceptable form of debate for the new presidential candidates. It's a fucking embarrassment and if you think anybody "won" that debate last night you are part of the problem. I wouldn't watch more people say why they thought whoever won either, all of their reasons are going to suck.
Nobody won that debate last night, it was a lose for the whole country.
Fuck that debate, if that's what we call a debate then I was debating back in third grade when me and my peers would go back and forth trying to insult each to gain popularity with the other kids out there. That's not a fucking debate, it's a smear contest.
Edit: why am I being downvoted? Do you all think these debates were something to be proud of? Yes, I get that it's tumps fault that we are in this situation, but it's America's fault that we even let it happen.

imissFPH ยท 1 points ยท Posted at 16:43:42 on September 27, 2016 ยท (Permalink)
Birtherism was started by a small minority of Clinton supporters in 2008 and when one of her staffers used it she fired them immediately.
Trump literally said to Hillary, who had just accused him of not paying a federal income tax, that doing so, "Made him smart." When he and his campaign constantly claim and condemn poor people who "abuse" the federal system to get money without doing anything.
I don't disagree about the Iran deal, he had valid criticisms but as a whole I think the deal is going to do more positives than negatives.
He also said paying zero in taxes would be smart, something along those lines in one of his interruptions
He's not really wrong. If most of us could get by with legally not paying taxes, we probably would. I imagine it doesn't really resonate well with undecideds, so I don't think it was a positive point for him
[deleted] ยท -96 points ยท Posted at 17:39:20 on September 27, 2016 ยท (Permalink)*
First off disclaimer: I hate both candidates equally and am not voting for either, but this was just my opinion.
In the first 30 minutes, Trump was up, I wouldn't say he was saying too much about what he had done, but he was doing an excellent job in making Clinton and career look hypocritical.
45 Mins-1 Hr. In, Trump started to lose steam, and Hillary started to actually defend herself. I'd say the rest of the debate, If not the whole debate, was them telling everyone how shit the other one was, and typical political BS after that.
Nothing I didn't expect.
It was kinda a draw imo, they both had their high and low moments.

I don't understand how people STILL don't think that the internet has any real world pull.

Trump interrupted Hillary something like 10 times in the first 30 minutes, and he was only interrupted by the moderator when he went over time, same as Hillary. Also the audience was supposed to be silent the entire time and they laughed and applauded for both Hillary and Trump multiple times, she didn't fill the audience with anyone and neither did Trump, there's no conspiracy.

They asked him to clarify points on issues that were brought up by either him, Hilary or the prompt. The reason he got more questions is A) Because he doesn't have as long of a political track record and people want to know for sure where he stands B) He tends to be very vocal and strongly worded about where he stands on issues. Asking him to clarify is completely within the moderator's position.
ALSO, this is the missed opportunities I'm taking about. Trump had every opportunity to set the topic of discussion as he set fit. Trump asked the email question and got a response. He questioned her on Iran and got a response. He choose not to bring up Bengazi, which was a mistake. If there are topics he wanted discussed he should have brought them up. If there were questions he felt like she dodged he should have pressed in his rebuttals. That's what a good debater does
Just because someone laughs at something obviously funny doesn't mean they're in for anyone. What's the point of a debate if everyone is scheduled to react to one person and not consider the other? Hillary destroyed Trump. It was hard to watch.
Lester told people applauding for Trump to wait to wait to the end near the beginning. Hillary got applause and nothing was said. Trump then got applause again later in the debate and Lester didn't say anything. Watch the entire debate again if you don't believe me.

The bias is your way of convincing yourself that your candidate looked stupid because of the lamestream media, and not because he's simply stupid. Hell, every question he responded second, he had a full two minutes to think of a reply to every single question, if anything it was biased towards him. But all the softballs in the world can't help you hit a home run if you suck at baseball.

Exactly - so why do you suggest people read the 'debate transcript' and make up their mind for themselves? It's simply your rantings on your perceived biased, not a transcript of the debate. I replied to your first comment which was very misleading. You think he should of brought up the emails? That would be a softball, there's no question she's more prepared to answer. Trump also went second on every question, he had 2 minutes more than Hilary to think on every single question and was still a mess. I can't wait to see what his off the cuff answers look like if that's what his responses are when he has a two minute head start. It's going to be glorious.

GetOffMyBus ยท 6 points ยท Posted at 17:17:15 on September 27, 2016 ยท (Permalink)
He also said paying zero in taxes would be smart, something along those lines in one of his interruptions
He's not really wrong. If most of us could get by with legally not paying taxes, we probably would. I imagine it doesn't really resonate well with undecideds, so I don't think it was a positive point for him

You are being biased. Trump did fine, Clinton just seem better prepared. He had a lot of missed opportunities. But people talking about the debate being unfair is kinda sad. It's honestly detracting from his performance imo.

That's what a good debater does
LiterallyHiliter ยท 11 points ยท Posted at 15:32:52 on September 27, 2016 ยท (Permalink)
Just because someone laughs at something obviously funny doesn't mean they're in for anyone. What's the point of a debate if everyone is scheduled to react to one person and not consider the other? Hillary destroyed Trump. It was hard to watch.
Tipsycowsy ยท -6 points ยท Posted at 16:04:47 on September 27, 2016 ยท (Permalink)
