Username Sniping Exploit: "SMKM" is able to (temporarily?) block usernames

Right now, it is impossible to get an "OG" username. It's been impossible, in fact, for the past 6 months. That is because a single person has been getting every OG username out there, by somehow hacking the minecraft username database. This sounds ridiculous. Allow me to explain.
Obviously, I cannot go into nitty details because I dont know enough about programming, but the general line is he's devised a program that "snipes" minecraft usernames the second they open. It creates an illegal account by generating an "unmigrated account code" and taking the name the second it opens. However, that is nothing new. All name snipers do that.
What sets this guy apart is he somehow manages to block the name when it opens for several hours so that nobody can change to it. The name is still open, but when you try to change your name, it says its taken. If you look at the website nameMC, it says this.

It will remain like that for a few hours, until the bot then claims the name. That name, as I create this thread, is still in the "blocked" phase, if you want to investigate further. Another account that got sniped by him was "silence" the day before. Close investigation should reveal that neither accounts were legitimately bought and payed for. So long as this guy remains on the loose, nobody will be able to change to any OG name that opens, even with a name sniper. All because he's managed to devise a method to "block" the transactions for that name for a few hours until the bot changes to it when no other sniper is working.
The man then sells the OG accounts he illegally obtained for hundreds of dollars on MCmarket.
So who is this guy, you wonder? His name is SMKM.

Ideally, you guys would figure out a way to get rid of name sniping in general, but that of course isn't possible. But at the very least, please patch whatever bug he's abusing in order to prevent ANYONE from changing their name to the one he wants, sniper or no.
He has no doubt made thousands of dollars from this already, as a single OG name can cost upwards of $5000 and he has been getting every single one for the past 6 months with his bot.
