Logging in to minecraft.net causes a redirect loop

Logging in to minecraft.net on my linux computer using Ubuntu and Firefox 88.0 (64-bit) causes a redirect loop and after a while I get the message below. (Everything works on the same computer with Chromium browser Version 90.0.4430.85 (Official Build) snap (64-bit))
