I can't seem to buy a minecraft account (WEBSITE ERROR?)

Ok. So I tried to purchase a minecraft account and it always comes up with error. The credit cards were purchased in the US not Australia. I used 2 different visa cards and had no luck. I even tried 3 computers and still said error. Is the server down? Also for the question does it' 'affect version/s' I put some random thing down. So please don't pay attention to that. I couldn't find the email of mojang so I'm using this website.
