Username Filter is not Working as Intended

Minecraft's username filter has a serious issue regarding false positives. Many people, including myself, have had issues getting the name they want. The issue isn't that the name is taken by someone else, but that it's not allowed for some reason, even if it's perfectly PG. Personally, I've wanted the name "slimycubed" for the past couple of years. I've played on Java Edition for over 7 years at this point, and I remember the filter being a lot more lax back when I was a newer player. Why has it changed? I can understand blocking sexual and other vulgar terms, but this filter is by far the strictest I've ever seen during my years on the internet. Minecraft is supposed to be about creativity, so why does it limit the creativity of your name so much? I really just want to change my name, since my current one is from a long time ago and I don't feel comfortable with it anymore, since it contains my real name. I'm really serious about my online identity, so I've been legitimately stressed over this multiple times over the past couple of years. I don't think it's really helping my current mental state. I really just want to play Minecraft with friends and not worry about my online identity not matching between services. (This is the only service I don't have the name "slimycubed" on yet, I even have it as my Xbox Gamertag.) I think all that needs to be done is a minor rework of the filter, or maybe just a system where you can submit a flagged name as "safe" and send it to support for review. If they say it's ok, then the name should be allowed to be used.

Thanks,

-David (slimycubed)

P.S. No need to tell me to go to Support or the Suggestions Page, I've already been to both multiple times over the past year or two.
