(PS4 edition) Minecraft won't register me signing in to psn

After multiple internet test connections, log outs and resigning in, and even uninstalling and reinstalling, Minecraft ps4 edition won't register me being logged in to my psn account, despite the fact of being logged in and in party chats and such. And since it won't register that I'm signed in, I can no longer use the servers either.
