Market problems

When I try to go to market place it keeps saying there is an issue and to check my conection . The only thing that I haven't tried is to uninstall and reinstall it. The last time I did that I lost a world that I was still working on . I don't want to lose the current one Ihave been working on it over a year . Thanks for the support .
