Minecraft suggestion page

It has come to my attention that the Minecraft suggestion page tends to not show recent or unviewed posts. I feel like many, in my opinion, good suggestions tend to go unnoticed, such as the ability to put carpet on stairs. I currently have no alternatives for the system, but community input is important, and I believe  that this should be looked at.
