Payment Bug

Hi.

I tried purchasing Java Edition on the Minecraft net but the error code 'Illegal Argument Exception' popped up. I already contacted Minecraft support and they asked me to either buy a prepaid card, use a different device or browser or choose a different payment method. I have tried using a different device and browser , but it still doesn't work. I tried different payment methods too. I went to the link they gave me for the prepaid card , but it was only available to people in the United States. I am worried that if I purchase it from other sellers , it may be a fake one . I told the support team and they directed me to this page. They said it is a bug and asked me to report it here. I will wait for your reply. Thank you!
