Website freezes when trying to change Minecraft username

i try to change my username on minecraft.net and it just freezes the whole tab and will not let me even click anything unless i either click out of the tab or click reload and reload does not work i created my account after 2012 so it was not required to change on the mojang website

i try rechanging my username but it will not allow me to successfully change it i retried multiple times and even went to the help page and found nothing... my last resort is this website...
