Son opening up family library version of Minecraft fails with License Error.

I own Minecraft on Android (and other platforms) and I have it shared with my son in the Family Library for Google Play.  He is able to install the application fine but when launching Minecraft he receives an error that states - "We're having trouble verifying that you own Minecraft on this device.  Make sure you have downloaded and installed Minecraft from the store.  Or simply reconnec to the internet and try again."  If he clicks OK the application exits.

I have cleared the data and cache, uninstalled and reinstalled.  Nothing seems to correct the License error.

I have other sons who are also members of my Family Library using the same tablets on the same version of Android and have downloaded the Minecraft app from the play store as a part of the family library and they can play the game without issue.

Please suggest steps to correct this error.  I will be happy to provide any additional information you may need.
