Closes at sign-in screen after purchasing MineCoins

After purchasing MineCoins ($5.99 both times), Minecraft for Windows 10 closes itself. Upon relaunch, after the Mojang and Minecraft splashscreens, at either the Xbox sign-in or Aquatic advertisement screens, the game closes itself.

The game will not launch to a playable state until:

1. The user logs out of both the Microsoft Store and Xbox applications.
2. The user creates a new account on their PC and launches from that account (likely tied to 1).
3. The user contacts Xbox support and the transaction is reversed.

This doesn't necessarily seem like something Mojang needs to fix itself, however should be made aware that this is an issue and this user cannot give them money (and subsequently cannot get skins/textures/anything) until it's fixed.
