After restoring an iPad we lost everything

We lost all the in-app purchases from Minecraft after restoring the iPad because my son forgot his passcode. He lost all the worlds, skins, textures, mash-ups and the remaining coins for which we paid for.

I ask you to look into that and tell me how to restore all the purchases related to Minecraft. It is upsetting to think that your so popular game cannot save previous purchases unless one creates an Xbox account, which we don't have as we don't use Xbox. Even if it is free to create one, you shouldn't expect that YOUR customers create an Xbox account just to save purchases done for YOUR products.
