My purchases and worlds were not saved to Microsoft.

I'm actually playing off IOS but this requires a computer so... Anyway, I got a Microsoft account to save, what I thought, were my worlds and purchases but it didn't save a thing when I deleted the app and rebought it (because I can't make any more purchases until I rebuy Minecraft again) and I don't have anything. I am not sure how to get my stuff back and I am very disappointed. I also had to rebuy Minecraft which sucked too. Now I can make purchases but have nothing that I had before.
