I bought the game from another device, but i can't play it. It says "email or account error"

A friend of mine bought the game for me with a paysafe card with a new email and password. Then, when he was done, he gave me the ok to login the game, but after multiple attemps i couldnt enter the game, instead he could. I tried to change the password, but it didnt change anything. btw i can log into mojang account
