Microsoft Account set up

Hi, my son has been playing minecraft on a samsung tablet. He has been enjoying playing the multi-player pvp games. Recently he has been unable to play due to a message that says 'you cannot play online multi-player because of how your Microsoft account is set up'. I have viewed my Microsoft account but I can't see where I need to make the changes.

Could you please advise further information on what is required for my son to be able to play online games again.
