Baught minecraft for my gf in Australia but the code isn't redeemable in her region

baught the game for my gd in oz, from England, it sent her the email with the redeemable code but says I need to contact the seller to provide a new code applicable to her region  need a new code. Unsure what affected versions means since Xbox wasn't an option so I just chose the top one, but it's for Xbox one, I own the game on my Microsoft account jacknorton93@outlook.com and I want her to own it too to play with me
