Realm Will Not Open

Two days ago I purchased a subscription for a new Minecraft Realm, switching from a Plus server to a regular server because of lack of interest in other players. Ever since I purchased the new Realm I have been unable to connect to it at all, open it, replace worlds, etc. It will hang up whatever I do and state "Unable to Connect to Realm. Failed to open Realm.". I have closed the application and restarted (on Switch), I have reset the system, I have tried replacing worlds, exporting worlds, using the default world, switching worlds, closing the realm, but whatever I try it gives me the error after 5 minutes of waiting. I was able to close the realm once today, but that was all I was able to do and I cannot reopen it. I get the same error for everything I do. Please let me know what other information you need to fix this issue as soon as possible.

EDIT: Issue has been resolved. I believe the issue is in how the world in a Realm is uploaded.

If a world is uploaded, it goes through an initial process of preparing the file, and then a 'upload complete' notification pops up, but there is no visual bar or 'finish/let's go' option, only cancel.

If I click cancel at 'upload complete': If I try to open the world, enter the world, modify the world settings, or change the world with another, noted 'failed to open realm' error occurs for an unspecified amount of time (maybe 10 minutes roughly?) after which the world can be replaced, but if tried to open/enter/etc the current world the error and time lock delay occurs again. World MUST be replaced, cannot be deleted or entered or edited.

If I wait about 5 minutes on 'upload complete' notification: eventually I get another 'upload complete' notification and the button changes to 'let's go'. As far as I can tell no further issues occur with the new world upload at this time, no matter the action taken (did not test if delete works but I'm not risking that)

Perhaps adding a text splash noting 'upload still in process, please wait' or add to the error 'Failed to upload Realm. Please try again in X minutes. If error persists, please replace world file with a newly generated world before any other actions.' would help.
