REALMS is super laggy!!!

I have been subscribed to Realms ever since the 1.16 update and it has been smooth sailing with friends playing without lag. Until 1.18 the game is unplayable, EVERYTHING is lagging, from players to mobs and entities like blocks and many other blocks. It takes minutes just to eat food in the game and a lot of the mobs are lag-stepping. My friends are appearing at one spot, then being in another because of lag. Items are disappearing after a second of just dropping them. My computer is really beefy so I know it's not the case nor is my internet because I'm on ethernet and am paying for premiums. These bugs are just making me think that the REALMS team does not care and gives the impression that I should just take my business elsewhere. Please fix this Mojang.
