Sign Text does not show (for 1.18)

When I join someone else's realm, I try to build something. However the signs that I place turn blank. I tried it in a singleplayer world and there was no problem. Note that someone already posted a bug about this, however they marked it for 1.13 and 1.14, but it happened again in 1.18.
