Lama kept tracking me down

I was on a realm with my friends and I tamed a lama, then when one of my friends got on the lama, the lama started running to me and no matter how far away I went or how far away I was whne they first got on it would still run and find me. I don't think it happened to the others on the realm but we found test it as we didn't want the others to take the lama to constantly track me down
