Connection Issue With Joining Realms (friends / my own)

Getting this error message "internal exception java.net.socketexception connection reset"

I have been getting this error message ever since the 1.17 update. I figured that the 1.17.1 update would fix it. I did anything and everything I could to troubleshoot and did a whole bunch of research. However, with the release of the 1.18 update I get the same issue. I can join a multiplayer server no problem, just not realms. I thought maybe it was only friends server, but I bought a realm for myself and was still experiencing the same issues. I can't play for more than 60 seconds before the error message pops up, then if I proceed with trying to join back I instantly get that error message. 

 

I just want to get this issue fixed so I can play a game I purchased years ago and to experience this new update etc.
