Server connection issues when joining realm

I haven't been able to connect to my realm for over 5 hours. I get the following error message: 

Couldn't connect to world io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException: connection timed out: /20.89.30.226:30042

I have tried all the usual steps, including uninstalling and re-installing minecraft on my machine. Nothing seems to work. 

The other players who have access to my realm are also unable to connect. They get the same error message.
