Post-anvil use causes a 2-3 second delay glitch

After using the Anvil for enchanting (could be for repairing/renaming also, but I haven't tried either of those), the game glitches for about 2-3 seconds.  I've noticed the following things during that 2-3 second "post-Anvil use glitch":

1) Experience level bar does not decline (once the XP levels go down, that's how I know the glitch is over)

2) Chests do not open to item display

3) Crafting table doesn't open to normal display

4) Trading with a villager gets permanently disabled.  That villager's "Trade" menu no longer displays, they no longer farm, or sleep in their bed, even though you can break the bed and place it down again (causing the green sparkles on that villager and the bed). (This is the BIGGEST nuisance of the glitch.)

Now that I know to wait until I see the XP level bar go down after using the Anvil, I no longer see any of the above glitches.
