Passive mobs freezing in place

Passive mobs are freezing in place. When trying to feed passive mobs, they will eat but cannot move or reproduce. After some time (anywhere from 2-15 minutes), usually the mobs will start moving again. If they were fed they will have hearts and reproduce. Hostile mobs don't seem to be affected.
