Disconnecting from server every few minutes

My friend and I started a Realm. We have multiple people on the server but for some reason my game is the only one that disconnects me. Sometimes I can play for a solid 10-15 minutes but then it kicks me or it kicks me every minute. all you can see in the chat log is me leaving and joining the server 50 times over. I thought it was a WIFI issue, got a new router and everything else works fine, I have a pretty good computer set up and have a ton of memory so I know it is not that. The only thing I can think of is that my friend is in Sweden and she is the one that started the server, while I am in the United States. It has become quite frustrating and I do not know what to do. It has given me every possible reason to disconnect me
