egg spawn hoglins wont breed

while playing on realm I had spawned in Hoglins with a spawn egg. I tried to breed them with a crimson fungi and they wouldn't breed. I was able to breed naturally spawning Hoglins.  I had tested it on a world not on my realm and works fine.
