Unable to leave area and teleported back on tamed horses after respawn

I have no idea what or why this is going on but I cannot leave an area and teleport back to my owned horses. I run around open areas and teleport back on my horse but im underground and suffocate. My friend has this issue before I did and now we can't enjoy the realm we worked really hard on. The horses are stuck rearing up and exhibiting abnormal behaviors. Please fix what we paid for!
