can't hear juckboxes on s samsung galaxy tab 6 2016 (we think)

I was playing with my friend (well the summary says it all) he can't hear the records i put in on our DJ. Even if he puts it in the record it still doesn't work. I think it also happens with noteblocks but not too sure. I don't have one to test.
