Geodes aren't spawning in new chunks on a fully updated old realm.

My friends and I have had a realm for about a year and a half, and we have it fully updated. I have traveled to unloaded chunks in search of geodes and there are none. These chunks contain new blocks as further proof that they are unloaded. I am over 5k blocks away from spawn. My seed is -1686292227. There should be a geode in multiple places in this area (more specifically in 20, -5580).
