Java Edition Realms connecting issues

When I try to connect to my Realms worlds, I get one of three behaviors, all friends on my Realms also see same behaviors, we have not been able to connect since 9/6/2021 ~7pm PST:

1. connecting times out, no error code just couldn't connect
2. connection times out with error 500
3. Connect to world but the world is empty and we just fall through empty space past -2000+ blocks and then the world exits with a time out error.

 

I've tried to /tp <base locations>  no affect, continue to fall through space until timeout.
