Sign text is automatically moved up on Xbox

I'm a Minecraft Bedrock player, and I play on an Xbox one. Earlier today I was having an issue with entering text on a sign where if I pressed enter to go to the next line and typed, the text would automatically move up to the previous line. This became problematic when I was trying to show prices for items at a shop I had set up, and I wanted the item name and price to be on a separate line. I think it may have something to do with the Xbox on-screen keyboard itself, but I couldn't find a way to change it in settings, in either Minecraft or in the Xbox settings. I've attached photos of how I entered the sign text vs how it actually shows up after exiting the keyboard, plus a photo of how text used to show up before this bug became present. This issue only started today, and I haven't had it previously. Thanks
