Loading glitch?

I will log into a realm and I can only move around. I can't open my inventory or anything, and mobs don't move. I cannot perform actions either, (eating, sleeping, attacks on mobs) and if I stay on the world for a bit it will kick me out. This will happen at random times and last for about 15 minutes. I do not know the cause.
