Certain mob spawning broken on realm

On Xbox One Minecraft Realms, certain spawning seems to be broken. Pillager Captains at Pillager Outposts and Slimes in slime chunks to be specific. Based on my own testing, this is also the case when simulation distance is set to 10 on single player worlds on Minecraft Bedrock and not when the simulation distance is set to 4.
