Bug about settings in realms

Hello

I have a problem with my realm. In the menu where you can change the NPC's, if it should be survival or creative, and all the 'spawn animals, monsters etc.' If I change it, and log in to my realm server to start play, it change automatically? So I can only play in Peacefull mode...?
What should I do?
