Get "Failed to close realm" error when trying to close the realm.

My realm seems to be stuck in limbo, whereas, no one is able to join, I cannot load from a backup, I cannot close the realm, and cannot activate a new map for the realm.  I have tried restarting my computer, reinstalling Minecraft, nothing worked.
