Combine Chest Bug

I was playing Minecraft and let's say there's a left chest space, a middle chest space, and right chest space, first place a chest in the left chest space then on the right chest space place a chest then in the middle place a chest than a big chest should be made. Then the other block of the big chest break. You will see the chests will not be together, they will be two chests together.
