Cannot access purchased realm

Trying to set up a server so I can play with friends who live in different cities. Got minecraft, no problem, figured out we needed a realm, so I purchased one. 

 

Purchase went through fine, but now when I go into realms in the game it just has the advertisement to buy a realm or start a trial. There seems to be green text behind the ad, but I can't read it. 

 

Attempted:

 

Restarting game.

 

Logging in and out of Minecraft. 

 

Clicking on the ad. Result: "Please log into minecraft and click on realms to initialize your realm". 

 

Attempts from previous tickets:

 

Spam clicking escape or enter. Escape returns to main menu.

 

Spam clicking right and left click.
