Stuck on Building Terrain Screen when joining my realm

When I join my realm I get stuck on the building terrain loading screen and I can't join, and then when I quit the game my friends say they see me leave the realm, but never saw me join. This doesn't happen on my friends worlds, servers, or my personal worlds, just realms.
