There are random explosions happening every once in a while, as if there was a creeper or tnt near by, but there aren't any near at all

There are random explosions happening every once in a while, as if there was a creeper or tnt near by, but there aren't any near at all. I really don't know why this is happening,  but it is very aggravating as it kills me and takes a lot of my EXP points
