Lagging issue in Realms only

For about a month now, I have been playing on a friends realm. Problem is, I join and have a bar of ping. Every time I open a chest, it takes like 5 seconds to open it, same with a block. Also, when placing blocks fast it appears for about 2 seconds and disappears. This is a problem because my internet is perfectly fine in single player worlds and multiplayer worlds/servers. It is also fine in other games like Valorant. I have tried ending apps in the background that play with my network and launching Minecraft but nothing seems to work.
