Book an quill - Bedrock, Realms

So when i write in a book in my friends realm and i get out of the book without signing it, and go back into the book and all of what i wrote is deleted, just gone. I've tried it more then once, still the same and i don't know what to do. Is this a bug? Not sure either, but it seems that way. I hope this gets fixed soon, thank you. P.S. The version is 1.16.221 not 220, it said that v1.16.221 didn't existed.
