World Transfer isn't working

After buying a realm, despite choosing a world to make into a realm, it made an entirely new world that was never in the world list. When trying to make it the world that was suppose to be the realm in the first place, the system gives me a vague error pop up, no direction on how to solve it. Restating the system will do nothing.
