I can't re open my realms world and I also can't change the world.

I have had my realms with no issue for a few months but I have gotten tired with the world I was in so I went into the setting to try and change the world. When I did this it kept saying an error occurred. I tried closing the game and re opening it and I also tried logging out and logging back in and finally I tried to close the realms. Once I closed it I tried to re open it but every time I do it it says an error occurred. I don't know what to do and it is frustrating that I am paying for a world I can't even play because it's forced closed.
