I cannot upload any worlds to my realm

I have been playing on a minecraft realm for about a month now and occasionally I would download my world to play offline so I can enjoy better render and sim distance.  A few days ago I tried to upload my world back to my realm and it wont work.  I have tried many times and all it does is it uploads then says "Export finished successfully" then it just sits at "Initializing upload" for like about 20-30 seconds and then I just get a message that says "An Error Occurred" with no further information at all.  This happens every single time I try.  I thought that maybe just my world was corrupted but then I tried uploading other worlds to my realm and none of them will work either they all fail in the same exact manner.

 

If I go to the backups in the realm settings menu and restore a backup that seems to work ok and I also did try closing the realm and re opening it but that didnt seem to help at all.  If there were at least a way to gain some more insight into what the error actually is that would be very helpful... 

 

Also I have tried this on both my PC and my XBOX one and I get the same behavior on both devices so I'm pretty confident it is the realm and not my device.
