Exporting worlds onto realms

So I just bought a realm so me and my mate can go onto our world that we have been working on since Christmas whenever we want. Bought it, trying to export our world onto the realm is causing issues and it keeps failing. I really don't want to have wasted my money on a realm for it not to work.
