Creeper farms do not work on my realm

I have a realm with some friends and we have shops to buy from each other; I have a disc shop which obviously needs creepers so I  decided to make a creeper farm and connect it to a skeleton killing machine, but any creeper farm that I made didn`t  work, and I remade them on other worlds and they worked but in the realm they didn`t. Plz fix this we can`t even have enough gunpowder for one single stack of rockets. I personally think it`s because the trapdoor ceiling mechanic doesn`t work on bedrock realms.
